PlenLabel Service Terms
Last updated: 2026-10-29
These Service Terms apply to PlenLabel in addition to the PlenPilot Terms of Service. In case of conflict, these Service Terms prevail for PlenLabel.
1. What PlenLabel does
PlenLabel is a production aid that fills placeholders in the Customer’s own InDesign templates with data the Customer supplies, and can suggest translations and wording based on approved references. PlenLabel does not verify product information and is not a regulatory, legal or food-safety advisory service.
2. Customer’s sole responsibility for labels
The Customer is solely and fully responsible for the content and compliance of every label, including product names, ingredients, allergens, nutrition values, quantities, weights, dates, translations, claims, warnings and any mandatory labelling requirements (for example Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and other applicable product rules).
Before any label is printed, used or placed on the market, the Customer must open and proofread the generated file in Adobe InDesign and approve it. Generating, downloading or printing a file means the Customer has accepted it.
3. AI translation and reference analysis
Translations, spelling corrections, writing rules and reference analyses are produced automatically and may be wrong. They are suggestions only. Uploaded translation files and approved rules are applied as supplied by the Customer; PlenPilot does not check their correctness.
4. Templates, fonts and layout
The Customer owns its templates and is responsible for holding licences for fonts, images and other design elements. PlenLabel only changes placeholder text; final text fit, line breaks, overset text and print output are rendered by InDesign and must be checked by the Customer. Unfilled placeholders are shown before download and remain the Customer’s responsibility.
5. No liability for printing, recalls or sanctions
PlenPilot is not liable for reprints, discarded packaging, product recalls, withdrawals, delays, fines, sanctions, claims from authorities, retailers or consumers, or any other loss resulting from label content or the use of generated files. The limitation of liability in the PlenPilot Terms of Service applies in full.
6. Plans and users
The scope of each plan (number of users, templates and support) follows the price list. Additional users are billed per month. Template set-up assistance included in a plan is a service, not a guarantee of result.
