For every kind of product label
PlenLabel takes your InDesign template and your product list and creates finished labels in seconds — without touching the design.

Highlighted text = filled in by PlenLabel. The rest is your design, untouched.
From template to print-ready label — shown with a real example.
Step 1 · Template
Mark every spot where text should change with a placeholder inside < >, e.g. <SNACKS_SV>. Each placeholder automatically becomes a category in PlenLabel, and the ending _SV or _EN tells which language the text should be in. Upload as .idml — you can keep several templates for different products and labels, each with its own categories. Tip: also upload a finished label made from the template. PlenLabel reads how you write — word order, flavours in brackets, capital letters, how you translate — and writes new labels the same way, so they sound like yours.

Your own design with placeholders inside < >. Every placeholder becomes a category.
Export the label from InDesign as .idml and upload it. PlenLabel finds every placeholder inside < >, for example <snacks_en>.
Copy the product list from Excel and paste it. A quantity in the second column becomes e.g. “pear (2pcs)”.
Choose which placeholder each product belongs to. The choice is saved and filled in automatically next time.
Only the placeholders are filled — fonts, layout and graphics stay untouched. Save the file wherever you like.
